Friday night, my BF and I went to a Park Lane/Secret Nighty party. Park Lane being the jewelry and the Secret Nighty being the game we played. A game that’s not as naughty as you’re thinking, so please pick your mind up out of the gutter. We had to bring what we slept in and then guess which one of the ladies present wore it to bed.
One woman brought a red feather boa. And that’s it.
Another woman brought hair bands. And that’s it.
LOL. Yes, a lot of bold women there were that night. Very fun. And plenty of beautiful jewelry.
Saturday and Sunday, I just sat around the house, watched tv, and wrangled more of my laundry into submission. We switched from Cox Cable to Dish Network recently and now we have hundreds more channels that we’ll never watch. For some reason, Saturday was a sucky day for tv watching.
On ESPN Classic, I watched the National School Scrabble Championship. For real. I think I might’ve learned a few new words. And the winners won $5000!
And then directly after that, I watched the 69th Annual Soapbox Derby. I kid you not. It was stimulating, let me tell you.
Sundays are even worse. Sunday night shows have gone downhill ever since Alias was cancelled. I ended up watching Extreme Home Makeover Edition. Once again, I was reminded how emotional that show can be. Not something I want to be watching when I’m entering the first stage of PMS.
I can’t wait until the Olympics start. What events are you going to be eyeballing?
