~ Kohl’s is my new favorite place to shop for clothes. And normally, I really don’t like shopping…for clothes, that is. I’d rather be buying books.
~ Doing voice-overs are fun. My job has online training classes that employees are required to take when they first get hired, as well on a yearly basis. Like a refresher course, if you will. I tried out a couple of months ago and basically, they’ll “call” you if they need you. They sent out an email blast last week for interested parties. It was only three lines, and it took about 3 minutes, but it was fun.
~ Mr. Maul and I saw TERMINATOR: SALVATION opening weekend. How scary is it that the time frame of the movie is only 9 yrs from now? We liked it, but are still scratching our heads that it was overtaken by NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2. Go figure.
~ I don’t understand how a cranberry juice drink claiming to have no sugar added can have 31g of sugar.

I love Kohls. One of my fave stores. So many good deals and I really like the clothes. Thanks for adding me to your blog roll!

I love and miss Kohl’s! Especially for clothes and SUPER end of season clearances. Also for linens and shoes. Oh yeah, and besides JC Penny’s, Kohl’s is the only place I shop for Lord Vader’s Clothes (XLTall).
I’ve always thought I would enjoy doing voice-overs, or radio or something like that. I actually did make the morning announcements at my High School my Senior Year. I heard they were having auditions and I was nervous, so I had a friend go along with me. Wouldn’t you know, we were the only two who showed up, and since we were friends and both did a good job, we shared the honor. So, every other week Abe and I took turns getting out of class to go read over the PA system. I LOVED IT!!! Everyone at the school had to listen to me… even if I was a wall-flower the rest of the time!!!
Anyway, I’ve often been told I have a great “phone voice” and have been the one chosen to record messages for Voice Mail Systems and such. Any suggestions on how to put myself out there for voice-work?

And there’s another Character Idea… The Wall-Flower reading the announcements every morning at school. And based in fact too!
Celise says:
That DOES sound like a great character idea. I’ll write it down for future reference.

I would’ve been nervous, too! Especially doing something like that in front of the whole school?!!! I would’ve been afraid I would’ve stuttered or something.
