On that same drive home today from work, I was getting off the freeway at my street. Two cars back I see a guy pull up on his crotch rocket (read: those really cool Ninja/Katana/Ducati-lookin’ motorcycles that only hot guys are allowed ride). The dude had no protective gear on whatsoever.
No shirt.
No helmet.
A pair of shorts.
Smoking a cigarette.
Like he was too cool for protective gear or something.
And he was getting on the freeway like that.
There’s no helmet law in the state of AZ although I think there should be. I mean, I know you wanna look cool in your shades and all, but they have some really cool helmets out there now: ones with spikes and faux mohawks….they’re really cool.
But to get out there with nothing? Not even a helmet? Is totally stupid and an accident waiting to happen. That would give people something to stop and gawk at fo sho.
