Feeling a little tired today, so this wrap-up is going to be short and sweet.
Saturday – I attended Free Arts AZ Volunteer 101 Orientation in the morning. You can read about how that went HERE. When I got home, the hubby and I went to see DISTRICT 9. Very interesting concept on the whole alien invasion. We liked it a lot. We even saw the preview of a movie that we’d like to see. One of those good angels vs bad angels with an unborn baby who’s going to save mankind type of movie. That night, we watched the Carano vs Cyborg female MMA fight on Showtime.
Sunday – Took my niece out to breakfast for her birthday and spent some girl time together before she had to go to work. I got her a $25 GC to Old Navy. She turned 20 last Thursday. That afternoon, I spent a few hours with some girls from the ISO putting together 7 care packages for some of our guys overseas. In the AZ group, we had a father and a boyfriend over there. The rest of the boxes were for guys in the 501st Legion. A lot of stuff was bought and we even had leftovers.
