Road Trip Wednesday is a “Blog Carnival”, where YA Highway
‘s contributors post a weekly writing or reading-related question and answer it in on our own blogs. You can hop from destination to destination and get everybody’s unique take on the topic.
You’re more than welcome to participate! Just answer the question on your own blog, and leave a link to it in their comments.
Today’s question:
How rough is your rough draft?
It’s the nappy new hair growth you get after you take out your braids kind of rough. LOL. At least it feels like that for me. I tend to write the whole thing first and then go back to edit. I read what I’ve done so far, to catch me up, and then go from there. If I I stop to edit, I’m afraid I’ll never get it done.

Kaitlin says:
I definitely feel that way too–if I go back and edit, I’ll never finish. Mainly because I could edit forever, it’s just too fun!
Amanda Hannah says:
First off, I adore your blog design. Too cute. Second, I read your post for the roadtrip last week, but didn’t see the option for comments (I can be slow sometimes lol) Just letting you know I did read it, though!
Michelle says:
That’s me, too! Just write, even when it’s cringe-worthy stuff.
Wendy says:
Yep, me too. I think that’s why NaNo works for me, (or I hope it does) because I can’t stop to edit until every single word is out or I break the flow and pft, the magic goes.
