Road Trip Wednesday is a “Blog Carnival”, where YA Highway‘s contributors post a weekly writing or reading-related question and answer it in on our own blogs. You can hop from destination to destination and get everybody’s unique take on the topic.
You’re more than welcome to participate! Just answer the question on your own blog, and leave a link to it in their comments.
Topic 3:
Turn your WIPs into Haikus
To be honest, I’ve never attempted to write a haiku. It’s another form of a poem and I’ve never been able to write poems, either. But I’m going to try it today.

Love these!
Kristin Miller says:
Hi Celise! I love that you played this week. Cool haiku – I especially love the way the first one centers on her new identity and the juxtaposition in the second – she loves the cafe, but somethings wrong there. Good work!
Celise says:
Kristin – Glad you liked it. That was the idea.
Michelle says:
You’ve managed to write haiku with voice! Awesome!
Celise says:
Kaitlin – I’ve never been good at writing poems. I actually had to Google the word Haiku to see what it meant. LOL.
Michelle – I did? Wow. That IS awesome. I guess that’s a good thing?
