I’m jumping on the Sunday Scribblings bandwagon to create more Writer Moment posts. They post a new word every Saturday, but most likely, just like their blog title, I’ll be posting on Sundays. This should be fun. You should drink the Kool-Aid jump on the bandwagon, too.
Word #192 is:
I decided to do this a little differently and post a snippet of dialogue from DA Book One: A Royale Pain that showcases the word.
“You’re my lab partner, Draven, not some gun-toting psycho. So we’ve never spoken outside of school. So what? And by some blip in the time space continuum, we’ve never crossed paths at the complex,” he pauses for a second. “Which is just…plain weird, but that’s not the point. I’m a little desperate here, okay? I’ve been on the job for eight months and I have nothing to go on.”
Yeah, I know. That’s some teaser, eh? Depending on what the word is this Saturday, I may have to do it this way again.
