December 27, 2010 | The Fiction Project

I found out about the Art House Co-Op through a post on The Creative Identity blog. I was intrigued enough by the site to see if they had any other non-drawing type of projects. Low and behold, they did: The Fiction Project.
It sounded like so much fun that I signed up for it. My theme is “It Must Be…” and this is what I get for participating:
A Moleskine Cahier journal. 80 fresh pages just waiting for my creative soul to fill. I decorated it myself. AND an official library card to The Brooklyn Art Library where my journals will be housed.
Anyhow, I’m going to do my best to post my visual progress on a weekly basis. School will be starting soon and I’m hoping to use this as a de-stresser. Per the instruction card, 51% of these journals will be in words. The rest will be in pictures. Or possibly a combo of the two. I wish I could draw, but I’m not that talented. Therefore, you will be seeing a lot of magazine cut-outs here. LOL. There’s still time for you to participate. Just click on the The Fiction Project link above and sign up!
Should be fun. I will start posting my material next Monday, the 3rd, to kick off the New Year.

Like the idea of posting it to the blog!
Maybe I’ll do it on my blog too!!!!
‘The view from up here…’ that’s what I picked.

Bry – You should! I’d be interested in reading it.
